some users may easy be passionate about this scanner.The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 have an excellent scan quality and speed.it can scan 25 ppm (page per minute) with two sided scanning.The documents turn out great when you review them,and with the scansnap organizer software, it is easy to put them into categories by dragging and dropping.
The real key of this device is the ability to reproduce the many intricate details of the scanned documents (letters, articles and forms).including the fine lines of tables.
The scanned photos are good for sharing but they have not enough resolution or sharpness for archival storage or printing.
The scanner is easy to setup and the wireless setup is easier as well.great for small office .With a Wi-Fi connection you are no longer limited by the the lenth of your USB cable.Not only can you place the iX500 wherever you please, you can scan directly to an iOS, Android, or Kindle Fire mobile devices, without even turning on the computer.
Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 is equipped with an ultrasonic multi-feed detection sensor wich means it baypass intentional double-feeds such as a stiky note on an report.
The iX500 is Pricey because of the included Adobe Acrobat software.The software is only for PC.
Like all ScanSnaps,The Biggest problem is that the IX500 does not support TWAIN ,but you can use ScanSnap Folder functionality .
The ScanSnap Folder can act as a host folder transferring your scanned data direct from your scanner to your chosen application.
The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 sometimes sucks the paper and jams and that will often ruin the document (this happens very rarely)
